Favorite Bible text:
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
Describe yourself: That's hard. Several people have described me as "the energizer bunny." I do have a lot of energy, but my husband, Kim, will tell you, that I need my sleep: I prefer a good 10 hours.
Do you have any pets? No, my husband and I are not very good nurturers. We have no plants or pets. We can barely keep ourselves watered and fed!
Ketchup or mustard? Mayonnaise
What's your favorite clothing store? Nordstrom. I just love their pretty piano music and their wonderful customer service! Great shoe selection, too!
What's something most people don't know about you? I'm athletic. Seriously. In school I always did horribly in PE class and got picked last for baseball teams. So I always saw myself as a klutz: everyone else did, too: but I've finally discovered sports that I enjoy. These include, but are not limited to: doggy paddling, snorkeling, jet skiing, and step aerobics.
What shampoo do you use? Aveda Camomile shampoo. Kim bugs me about this, because he tries to get by on those small bottles of shampoo acquired from hotel rooms on our vacations!
Who was your favorite school teacher? Mrs. Nelda Warren, my fourth grade teacher at Miramonte SDA Elementary School in Mountain View, California. Before Mrs. Warren, I hated school. My previous teacher used to punish me for "talking and disrupting class" by making me move my desk out into the hall. It was pretty bleak and lonely out in an empty school hallway while everyone else was in class: especially for a talker: and I spent quite a bit of time there! Somehow when I got to Mrs. Warren's classroom I became a good student and a well-behaved kid. I don't know how that happened, but I give all the credit to Mrs. Warren! She also encouraged me to write and actually made me believe that I had some ability in that area.
